Job description

Applications are invited to apply for the position of Financial Accountant within the Finance Department of the University of Wolverhampton.

Role Overview

This is an exciting and wide-ranging role. As a senior member of the finance team, you will lead a team responsible for:

1. Statutory reporting
2. Liaising with external and internal auditors
3. Compliance, tax, and cashflow reporting
4. Management accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis

You will play a key role in developing future reporting to support the University's strategy, undertake scenario planning, and support future business cases.

Leadership and Location

You will lead and manage a team of accountants and should have a proven track record of managing people and communicating effectively at all levels of staff.

The role is based at our campus in Wolverhampton.
