Role Overview: As a Financial Accountant, reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the finance functions, develop relationships within the company, and assist in management planning and decision-making. Responsibilities include:

• Creating effective networks with finance and management teams
• Supporting management with financial analysis and recommendations
• Maintaining strong business relationships while remaining independent
• Demonstrating commercial awareness and understanding of the UK motor retail industry

Key Responsibilities: The role involves managing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, business partnering, financial analysis, overseeing the general ledger system, team management, and stakeholder interaction.

Candidate Requirements: The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a strong accounting background, ideally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years' experience, preferably in retail. Candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered. The role requires proactive individuals with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a desire to improve business processes.
