We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our established and experienced Global Network team here at RSA Liverpool on a hybrid basis.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely completion of key financial reporting to support efficient, compliant, and accurate cash flow within the RSA/Intact Global Network operation across various legal entities.
You will be responsible for producing the Global Network Balance Sheet and Bank Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely submission to Finance. You will lead all Debt Reporting within the Global Network team, consolidating updates from colleagues and helping to drive focus and priorities. You will play a key role in developing our reporting capabilities in this area. Additionally, you will participate in the annual Operational Planning process, forecasting Income and Expenses, and monitor progress against the plan throughout the year.
You will also manage specific territories, partners, and internal business units to ensure efficient and compliant cash flow, owning the resolution of credit control issues with internal and external customers.
You should have experience in a finance, accounting, or reporting function within the financial services industry. Knowledge of revenue statements, balance sheets, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports is essential. Experience in completing operational plans for revenue, income, and expenses is also required.
You should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant, with a SIMA qualification being desirable. Excellent SAP and Excel skills are essential for this role.
