Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Finance Transformation Leader to drive the Target Operating Model for Finance within a large corporate setting. You will partner with external consultants and shape design proposals to align with transformation objectives.

You will lead development of future-state structures, capability frameworks and accountability models, identifying gaps and working with HR on skills and workforce strategies. The role also focuses on automation, analytics and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing Target Operating Models in Finance or similar complex functions.
• Strong understanding of operating structures, role design, spans and layers, and capability frameworks.
• Proven track record managing consulting partners and delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation, people transitions or redesign programmes.
• Knowledge of finance processes and future digital finance capabilities.
• Experience developing service delivery frameworks, governance models and performance structures.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders across organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Target Operating Model workstream and act as the primary counterpart to external consulting partners
• Challenge and shape organisational design proposals aligned with Finance Transformation objectives
• Drive development of future-state organisational structures, role profiles, capability frameworks and accountability models
• Identify capability gaps and partner with HR on skills, learning and workforce development strategies
• Ensure Finance develops capabilities for automation, analytics and business partnering
• Develop and execute transition plans from current to future-state operating model
• Support change activities, consultation processes and people transition programmes
• Design service delivery frameworks, shared services models and centres of excellence
• Establish governance structures, decision forums and performance management approaches
• Define KPIs and reporting to monitor success and drive improvement
• Manage stakeholder engagement across Finance, HR, Technology and wider business
• Prepare recommendations and papers for programme boards and leadership
• Lead implementation of the model, overseeing transitions, governance and performance management
