Job summary

Forge Talent is leading a major SAP S/4HANA transformation within the Accounting & Finance Management workstream in Manchester. You will act as the bridge between Finance, Technology and the broader programme to design, configure and optimise finance processes.

You will help translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions, support data migration and testing, and drive improvements across month-end close, reporting and planning while engaging stakeholders across Finance and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance transformation projects, especially SAP-based
• Experience gathering, challenging and translating business requirements into finance designs
• Strong knowledge of month-end close, management accounting and financial reporting
• Track record of simplifying and standardising finance processes
• Excellent stakeholder management across business and IT
• Ability to turn complex finance requirements into practical solutions

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance SME across the Accounting & Finance Management workstream within a SAP S/4HANA transformation
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, project teams and partners to capture and validate business requirements
• Translate finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA design and configuration
• Review and streamline month-end close, reporting and planning processes
• Lead SIT and UAT activities to validate new processes and functionality
• Support data migration, validation and reconciliation throughout the programme
• Identify risks and opportunities and drive resolution with the team
• Support change management, training and adoption for Finance teams
• Assist cutover planning, go-live and post-implementation optimisation
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the business
