Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Consulting team. The role focuses on delivering consulting services in finance transformation, operational excellence, and change management, with a strong emphasis on core project management in banking and financial services.

You will lead complex client engagements, drive transformation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes and enhanced customer experiences.

Qualifications

• A third level degree, with a strong academic record.
• Project Management certification, with a demonstrated ability to apply best practices, tools and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, or tailored approaches) to deliver measurable project outcomes.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of complex projects and programmes for key clients across various industries, ensuring high-quality outputs and meeting tight deadlines.
• Leading or supporting transformation initiatives, including digital transformation, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and customer engagement.
• Defining and driving projects across all stages of the project life cycle.
• Leading cross-functional teams spanning multiple business units and functions.
• Designing and delivering customer experience transformation initiatives, including end-to-end journey redesign and improved customer-centric processes.
