Qualifications

• Professional qualification ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA with post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing a large portfolio of audit clients.
• Background in Finance Consulting, External Audit or line-finance roles with focus on reporting or costing.
• Proven experience in month-end/year-end reporting, financial analysis, process improvement or Finance system implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead projects - typically 2 at a time - with limited senior oversight.
• Build internal and external networks for opportunity generation toward Associate Director roles.
• Using empathy to uncover root causes and translate into compelling propositions.
• Collaborate across Consulting and wider Grant Thornton to bring appropriate capabilities to clients.
• Communicate confidently with CFOs/FDs and senior stakeholders; manage expectations.
• Own quality, compliance and risk matters; manage engagement budgets and timelines.
• Contribute to practice development and toolkit improvement.
