Job summary

Morgan Stanley Glasgow is seeking a Finance Central Management Projects Director to join the COO Office, supporting a portfolio of projects including Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, and Financial Accounting renovations. The role emphasizes governance, milestone delivery, and cross-functional collaboration across locations.

The candidate will manage data renovation initiatives, contribute to agile processes, and ensure compliance with firm risk standards while leading key work streams

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Finance functional area and related controls.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, documentation and process understanding abilities.
• Experience in data modelling and investigation; able to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Experience implementing change effectively to improve processes.
• Experience with managing backlog and participating in agile sprint ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
• Lead or contribute to project workstreams related to regulatory rules and data renovation.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to document current and future state processes and perform gap analyses.
• Prioritize backlogs and participate in sprint planning and testing phases.
• Utilize data analysis and AI tools to support change management activities.
• Ensure adherence to risk and regulatory standards and firm policies.
