Job summary

Sewell Wallis Ltd is partnering with a Berkshire-based business near Slough to recruit an experienced Head of Finance. The successful candidate will lead a finance function in a large, multi-entity group and manage a team of around 30 people, driving transformation and continuous improvement.

You will reshape reporting, strengthen controls and promote commercial partnering, working with senior stakeholders to deliver growth, value creation and rigorous financial governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with strong IFRS knowledge and multi-entity experience.
• Experience leading large finance teams and managing consolidation/intercompany activities.
• Familiarity with BI/AI tools and tax returns is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance, accounting, payroll, and reporting functions across the organisation.
• Coach and develop finance teams to build a high-performance culture.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting.
