Job summary

Currys is seeking a Solution Architect for Finance Systems to shape, deliver, and evolve technology across a portfolio of finance initiatives. The role focuses on end-to-end design of core finance capabilities, including general ledger, sub-ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

You will work with Finance, IT, and Analytics teams to translate accounting requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions, ensuring compliance and data integrity in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience architecting solutions across enterprise finance systems, ideally in retail or multi-channel.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and ERP ecosystems.
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Experience leading architects and collaborating with delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, analysis, and review of solution architectures across a portfolio of finance projects.
• Own end-to-end design of finance solutions, aligning business and technical needs.
• Define system components, services, and designs across finance domains.
• Oversee and guide architecture across hardware, software, and operational aspects.
