Job summary

THG is seeking a Finance Systems Data Assistant to manage Master Data in line with Group procedures and audit requirements. Reporting to Finance Systems Manager, this role focuses on data quality and efficient data maintenance.

You will handle bank verifications, system imports, queries, and training. The role requires analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Experience handling large data sets and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to present to internal stakeholders and build relationships.
• Interest in finance, controls, and data quality improvements.
• Self-starter keen to learn and expand finance knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong time management in a fast-paced environment.

• Bank detail verifications, verbally & through banking portals
• Data management and maintenance, including system imports
• Day to day query management including mailboxes
• Training and upskilling new recruits
• User data management in procurement system and data reporting
