Job summary

Encord is seeking a Finance Associate to own the operational core of our finance function, including supplier payments, customer invoicing, and month-end reconciliations. You will partner with the wider finance team and cross-functional groups to improve processes and scale our financial systems as the business grows.

This role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who values ownership, accuracy, and contributing to tools for multimodal AI.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1–2 years in a finance, accounting, or analytical role.
• Solid foundation in bookkeeping, AP/AR, and invoicing.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software and financial tools.
• Proactive mindset in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, VAT returns and accounts receivable.
• Process employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Oversee client invoicing and manage billing workflows.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc finance and operational projects as they arise.
