Job summary
Apollo Research in London seeks a finance professional to own operations, accounting, reporting and compliance. You will build a finance function from first principles, automate manual work with AI agents, and scale with the business.
You will lead day-to-day processing while shaping controls, reporting, and governance across the organisation. You will work directly with the Head of Finance and help drive a fast, compliant close, ensuring accurate ledgers and insightful monthly packs that inform
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in a UK company.
- Experience running monthly closes end-to-end to tight deadlines.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidation.
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day financial operations (O2C and P2P) and bookkeeping.
- Establish repeatable monthly close with journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare monthly pack with P&L, balance sheet and cash flow views.
- Deliver cash visibility with 13-week cash forecasts and variance analysis.
- Support building scalable finance systems and controls using automation.
