HFG is seeking a Finance Optimisation Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Manchester. The role focuses on finance systems, data analytics, reporting and process automation, with hands-on work on Workday and DUCO to improve workflows and strengthen controls.

You will develop, maintain and enhance finance reporting across multiple systems, automate processes, and collaborate with Finance and Technology stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Systems, Data Analytics, Reporting, Automation or Finance Transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Workday and/or DUCO would be highly advantageous.
• Experience developing, building or improving reporting solutions, workflows or automated processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify practical improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with Alteryx, Sigma or Anaplan would also be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and enhance financial reporting and automation solutions across multiple systems.
• Build and improve existing workflows to increase efficiency, reduce manual processes and strengthen financial controls.
• Develop and enhance reporting capabilities within Workday, including composite reports and discovery boards.
• Support DUCO reconciliation processes, including improving matching rules, reconciliation logic and automation.
• Analyse financial data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Support system enhancements, testing, upgrades and wider finance transformation initiatives.
• Improve data accuracy, reporting quality and operational efficiency.
• Explore opportunities to introduce automation and AI-driven improvements.
