Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to optimise our finance IT environment, ensure data integrity, and support performance reporting for residents and colleagues. You will act as the first line of contact for finance systems, balancing technical work with strong stakeholder engagement in a busy finance team.

You will maintain system controls, manage D365 workflows, assist with month‑end activities, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with a finance IT system, specifically Microsoft D365 or similar.
• Experience maintaining strong financial system controls and data integrity.
• Experience handling large volumes of financial transactions in computerised systems.
• CCAB qualification or actively studying, with ongoing CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for all finance IT system queries and resolve issues per SLAs.
• Act as system custodian, maintaining completeness and controls of finance IT systems.
• Maintain and update approval chains and workflows within the purchase order system.
• Monitor finance system processes and align with reporting timetables.
• Support month-end activities and ensure scheduled jobs run on time.
• Maintain user accounts and security profiles in finance systems.
• Support change requests, ensuring alignment with chart of accounts and governance.
• Develop and update procedure manuals and system documentation.
• Deliver training to staff on finance systems functionality and configurations.
• Document system queries and resolutions for a robust knowledge base.
• Support audit requirements from a finance systems perspective.
• Contribute to KPI tracking and continuous improvement.
