Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance System Implementation Lead to spearhead the procurement, design and implementation of a modern finance system across its NHS organisations. The role requires strong programme management, stakeholder engagement and governance capabilities to deliver a scalable enterprise-wide solution.

The successful candidate will lead workshops, manage supplier relationships and drive change to realise improved reporting and decision-making

Qualifications

Significant experience leading large-scale finance system implementations or digital transformations.
Proven ability to develop business cases and manage procurement activities.
Strong governance, reporting and data quality focus in finance environments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior leaders, clinicians and operational teams.
Experience managing budgets and delivering value for money.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of a major finance system transformation across NHS Dorset organisations.
Procure, design, and implement an enterprise-wide modern finance system.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including finance, digital, procurement, and clinical leads.
Translate technical solutions into meaningful business improvements and drive adoption across the organisation.
