KennedyPearce is hiring a Finance System Manager for a consultancy business based in London. This role is newly created and will serve as a bridge between finance and IT. The company offers hybrid working, requiring 1-2 days in the office weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Functional Lead for the Group ERP system, Microsoft F&O.
• Oversee Group Finance's use of the ERP across countries and implement Microsoft F&O globally.
• Manage a team of up to 4 members based in the Indian SSC, including both functional and technical staff.
• Collaborate closely with country finance and IT teams to manage finance systems infrastructure aligned with strategic needs.
• Assist with technical aspects of Reporting & Consolidation systems, including maintaining interfaces between Microsoft F&O and Prophix.
• Ensure Group Finance systems are fit for purpose, with best practices and controls in place.
• Create and maintain process documentation and training materials for Finance Systems.

Group ERP Systems (primarily Microsoft F&O):

• Collaborate with local teams to migrate them onto a common ERP platform.
• Support implementation of new systems to meet strategic needs.
• Perform impact assessments for proposed changes and provide recommendations.
• Oversee Group Finance Systems infrastructure.
• Shape governance over the Group's finance systems implementation and maintenance.
• Stay updated on developments in the F&O space and advise Group Finance accordingly.
• Contribute to the Group Roadmap for Finance Systems.
• Maintain interfaces from F&O (e.g., to Prophix).
• Document system architecture and processes comprehensively.

Group Consolidation & Reporting Systems:

• Maintain documentation on system architecture and processes.
• Stay informed on new developments and advise Group Finance.
• Coordinate with vendors on system updates and patches.
• Support system improvements and implementations within the team.
• Build reports as required for reporting and forecasting purposes.
• Provide first-line support to users.

Qualifications:

• Experience with MS 365 (F&O preferred) and Consolidation & Reporting systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing offshore resources.
