Job summary

Biotage is seeking a senior finance leader to head Finance Shared Services, delivering scalable financial operations and insightful business information across the organisation. You will oversee Transactional Finance and Management Accounting teams, ensuring strong governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Senior finance leadership experience managing a medium-sized multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in finance shared services and month-end reporting.
• Strong governance, controls, and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance Shared Services, building a high-performing team that delivers efficient, high-quality and customer-focused services aligned with organisational priorities.
• Oversee management accounting and transactional finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting to Group Finance.
• Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs and performance reporting to drive accountability, measure service quality and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
• Standardise and optimise finance processes across the Group, embedding consistent, efficient ways of working across all entities supported by Shared Services.
• Oversee treasury operations and working capital management, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships and funding activities to support the financial stability and growth of the business.
