Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc is seeking a proven Head of Finance Shared Services to lead transactional finance, AR, AP, Payroll and Cash & Banking. You will drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement while strengthening controls and cash performance across the Group.

This senior role requires strategic leadership, stakeholder collaboration and a track record of delivering efficient, compliant shared services.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Finance Shared Services or senior transactional finance leadership.
Strong leadership across multiple transactional finance disciplines.
Deep knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Credit Management and Accounts Payable.
Proven ability to improve cash collection, aged debt and working capital.
Experience establishing KPIs, SLAs and performance frameworks in a SSC.
Experience driving process improvement, standardisation and automation.
Experience leading teams through business and digital transformation.
Strong ERP knowledge and familiarity with automation tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing Finance Shared Services team.
Develop and implement a Shared Services strategy.
Lead Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Cash & Banking.
Establish KPIs and SLAs across Shared Services.
Drive cash collection and improve working capital.
Partner with Sales and Operational leadership to manage debt exposure.
Oversee payroll delivery with strong governance and controls.
Maintain robust financial controls and risk management.
Support audits and external reporting.
