Job summary

Safran Group in the UK is seeking a Financial Project Controller to support the Redwood/Sherman separation programme. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial performance, acting as a trusted partner to the project team.

Working with cross‑functional and international stakeholders, you will deliver insights, identify risks and opportunities, maintain controls and governance, and help shape the programme's financial success.

Qualifications

5+ years in project controlling, financial analysis or manufacturing finance.
Experience with manufacturing transfers, industrialisation or transfer projects.
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge (e.g., SAP).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Able to operate in cross-functional and international environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts and financial plans for transfer activities.
Monitor costs and headcount against budget; analyse variances and risks.
Produce forecasts, reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Support business cases with financial modelling and ROI analysis.
Collaborate with project management, engineering, supply chain and sites.
Ensure financial controls, governance and audit readiness.
