Job summary

Safran is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Manager in Wolverhampton to lead financial strategy and governance across the supply chain. You will partner with senior leadership to drive margins, reduce costs and enable sustainable growth.

You will manage inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting and standard costing, coaching a finance team, and delivering insightful financial performance to shape business decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within manufacturing or similar environments.
• Excellent financial planning, analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to digest and manipulate complex data sets to translate into meaningful information.
• Strong leadership to develop and drive a finance team and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Establish a financial governance framework for UK supply chain with clear reporting standards and controls.
• Partner with the Supply Chain Director and Finance Director on 1-3+ year financial strategy.
• Lead period end, budgeting and forecasting processes for required performance.
• Own site inventory accounting, month-end close, provisions and reporting across inventory.
• Lead the standard costing exercise and manage risk, ROI analyses for major investments.
• Drive cost reduction and margin optimisation initiatives across the site.
