Job summary

Build Recruitment are supporting an established business on the outskirts of Exeter to recruit a Finance & Payroll Administrator. The role covers day-to-day finance and payroll with responsibility across both areas, on a 37-hour week.

You will process timesheets, support payroll, manage starters/leavers, reconciliations, and VAT considerations, with experience in Sage 200 desirable. Salary around £27,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in finance, accounts or payroll administration.
• Good understanding of payroll principles and basic accounting.
• Experience with timesheets, payroll changes and reconciliations.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial records.

Responsibilities

• Processing employee timesheets and supporting payroll.
• Managing new starters, leavers, holidays and sickness records.
• Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Processing payroll information using Sage 200.
• Maintaining confidential financial records and advising on payroll issues.
• Running financial reports and supporting month-end procedures.
