St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to deliver a reliable finance service across our academies. You will support staffing budgets, payroll costs and financial records, working with Finance Partners, HR and school leaders.

The role suits someone with finance or budgeting experience, strong numeracy, and excellent Excel skills. We offer a collaborative team, professional development and a clear pathway within a Trust with 23 academies.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, budgeting or a related field.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Can investigate and explain financial variances confidently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is confident using financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience within the education sector, academies or public sector finance would be an advantage

• Maintain staffing budgets and payroll costs accurately.
• Keep financial records up to date and monitored.
