Job summary

Alexander Lloyd Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead and scale the finance operations function in Surrey. The role will manage a team across AP, credit control and billing, driving accuracy, efficiency and robust controls.

You will partner with senior finance leadership, own end-to-end processes, and identify automation opportunities to deliver improved performance and stakeholder value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading finance operations or shared services teams.
• Strong knowledge of AP, credit control and billing processes.
• Experience developing and coaching staff and driving process changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of 10 across AP, Credit Control and Billing.
• Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong financial controls.
• Drive improvements across billing, collections and payment processes.
• Manage KPIs, aged debt, cash collection performance and supplier payments.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and introduce automation.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
• Support month-end activities, reconciliations and reporting requirements.
