Job summary

GardX is seeking a Finance Administrator (Operations) on a part-time basis to manage day-to-day operational finance activities across insurance products. The role is based at Port Solent and involves high-volume financial transactions, dealer accounts, commission structures, and insurer reporting.

You will work with bespoke systems to ensure accurate financial processing, timely premium collections, and robust controls while supporting continuous improvement of processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance operations or financial administration.
• Credit control or ledger management experience.
• Reconciliations and financial reporting experience.
• Ability to work with large volumes of transactional data.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly insurer and dealership bordereaux, invoicing and commission statements.
• Oversee premium collections and Direct Debit processing.
• Perform credit control activities and resolve payment queries.
• Reconcile premium and claims transactions.
• Monitor claims funding and payment floats.
• Validate commission payments and dealer financial allocations.
• Prepare monthly financial information for the GardX Finance Team.
• Produce operational reports and investigate financial discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
• Build strong working relationships with internal departments, dealerships and insurer partners.
