Job summary

Essential Employment in Gloucester is seeking a Finance Officer (Hybrid) on a part-time, temporary contract. The role supports the Finance Manager (Projects) with monthly JCT.10 claim preparations and data analysis, requiring accuracy and attention to detail.

You will work with service areas and project managers to coordinate claim evidence, while ensuring understanding of purchase orders and SAP invoices within the SAP system. This is a hybrid, part-time position based in Gloucester.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance support roles.
• Attention to detail with large data sets.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar financial systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly JCT.10 claim preparations.
• Analyse data and maintain accuracy across large datasets.
• Meet with service areas to resolve processes and issues with Finance Manager Support.
• Coordinate claim evidence with project managers and service areas.
• Understand purchase orders and invoices within the SAP system.

Finance Officer (Hybrid) needed in Gloucester, £17.45ph PAYE – Reference: 5309294

Part time 20-25 hours per week

Reporting into and supporting the Finance Manager (Projects) to

• Support with monthly Jct. 10 claim preparations
• Data analysing and ability to pay attention to detail with large quantities of data
• Meeting with service areas to work through processes and issues with Finance Manager Support
• Working with the project managers and service areas to co-ordinate claim evidence
• Ability to understand PO’s and invoices within the SAP system

This is a part time role on a Temporary contract basis.
