Job summary

Inform Health Limited in Skegness seeks an experienced Accounts Officer to own day-to-day accounting, including AR/AP, invoicing, VAT and financial reporting. You will work with the Commercial Director and HR on payroll elements within a small SME environment, handling month-end processes and liaising with external accountants.

The role requires an AAT Level 3 or equivalent, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and the ability to manage deadlines with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualification with demonstrable practical experience.
• Experience in broad accounts, bookkeeping and finance activities across AR, AP and reporting.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Confident using accounting software and Excel; highly organised with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with timely recording.
• Prepare customer invoices and oversee credit control and reconciliations.
• Support payroll-related financial elements in collaboration with HR.
• Produce monthly financial information for management and external accountant.
• Maintain financial records across accounting systems and CRM/document management systems.
• Support year-end processes and VAT/G-Cloud reporting as required.
• Monitor banking and prepare bank reconciliations; manage supplier payments.
