Job Description:

Pyramid8 is currently looking for an experienced Finance Officer for a company in Huddersfield. This is a standalone finance role seeking a self-motivated individual who wants to be part of an interesting and growing business.

The role includes providing financial administrative services to support the senior management team, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.

  • Credit control (aged debtor analysis and chasing debtors)
  • Processing invoices and receipts
  • Transactional work (credit card and expense claims, timesheet monitoring)
  • Full control of payroll and handling subsequent payroll queries
  • Managing petty cash
  • Monthly VAT reviews and adjustments, including quarterly calculations/returns
  • Monitoring income and expenditure
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Preparing financial metrics for the senior team
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Refining and developing finance systems
  • Maintaining company cash flow
  • First point of contact for all financial queries
  • Preparing information for year-end accounts

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience with financial management systems such as SAGE
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Qualification from a recognised accountancy body (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, AAT)
