Butler Rose Ltd in the Midlands/Warwick is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the operational transactional finance function (AP/AR) in a high-volume manufacturing environment, overseeing managers and coordinating with other departments. The role demands acquisition integration experience and a strategic, process-driven mindset.

You will drive reporting improvements, governance, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, while building a collaborative SSC culture.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience with transactional focus.

Finance Manager - manufacturing/packaging central shared service functions

Circa £65,000 - £75,000 (neg) plus end of contract bonus!

Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

Location: Midlands/Warwick - hybrid with flexible approach

Acquisition/Change transformation experience would be a highly advantageous skill set

A growing acquisitional orientated organisation is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee its operational transactional finance function for AP and AR within a high volume complex invoicing environment - this role oversees Managers within these key areas and acts the intermediary to many departments providing the adhesion needed for a collaborate team environment

This position offers responsibility for managing core finance processes, leading a well-established team and driving operational improvements across a dynamic transactional accounts manufacturing business environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening reporting processes, improving efficiency and supporting strategic objectives, along with intergration from acquisition The incumbent team are capable and experienced and this role aligns with a more strategic approach

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Provide leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary finance team - AP/AR and General
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations.
• Ensure robust financial governance and effective risk management during aquisitionsal change
• Develop and monitor operational performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash management activities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver commercial objectives.
• Lead change initiatives, including process redesign and technology enhancements.
• Promote a culture of accountability, development and high performance.

Candidate Profile

• Ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent or QBE
• Versatile character with empathy to deal with all levels of stakeholders - quick relationship builder
• Shared Service Centre background - AP & AR and some Treasury
• Demonstrable experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong understanding of transactional financial operations, governance and business processes.
• Experience managing teams through periods of growth and change.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of improving efficiency and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
