Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Strong management accounting and reporting experience.
• Experience leading or developing a team.
• Hands-on with ownership and drive to implement initiatives.
• Able to think commercially and identify opportunities to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Manage weekly P&L reporting and performance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Coordinate month-end processes to meet reporting deadlines.
• Inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and cost analysis.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers.
• Manage VAT returns, ONS reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end accounts and external audits.
• Deliver projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operational teams to identify efficiencies and profitability improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of four.
