Job summary

PCE Ltd is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join the Finance team at Head Office in Tamworth. You will record and process daily and monthly financial transactions, supervising ledgers, cashbooks, payroll, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting, audits, and training junior staff. Reporting to the Accountant, you will act as deputy Finance Manager and contribute to continuous improvement of financial controls, with a focus on

Qualifications

Minimum AAT Level 4 or equivalent with demonstrable experience in the role.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
Experience in the construction industry.
Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central and eVision.

Responsibilities

Promote the Company in a professional manner.
Supervision of and assisting with purchase ledger.
Supervision of and assisting with subcontract ledger.
Supervision of payments cashbook.
Supervision of and assisting with weekly payroll.
Supervision & assistance with receipts cashbook.
Assistance with annual overhead budget.
Assist with monthly management accounts process including journals, prepayments and accruals.
