Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Manage weekly P&L reporting and performance analysis.

• Coordinate month-end processes to meet reporting deadlines.
• Inventory accounting, stock reconciliations and cost analysis.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers.
• Manage VAT returns, ONS reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with year-end accounts and external audits.
• Deliver projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operational teams to identify efficiencies and profitability improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of four.

Finance Manager | Tamworth | Permanent | Office Based | Pathway to Financial Controller | Salary up to £60,000 + 10% Bonus (reviewable in 6 months)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business seeking a high-calibre Finance Manager who is hungry to make a difference. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role within the finance function while leading a team of four. You will be trusted to use your initiative, think outside the box and influence decision-making across the wider business.

The Opportunity

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and meaningful financial information while driving efficiencies and supporting commercial decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
