Job summary

Michael Page is hiring a Finance Manager in Canterbury, UK. The role oversees day-to-day accounting, budgeting, VAT, and tax processes within the Accounting & Finance department. You will balance strategic reporting with hands-on transactional work and ensure timely, accurate financial information.

The position offers part-time hours (22 per week) with a competitive salary and a performance-related bonus. The candidate will operate autonomously in the UK with strong Excel and cloud accounting

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and cloud accounting proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual FSA UK budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variances and explanations.
• Produce cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.
• Prepare VAT returns and quarterly Corporation Tax estimates.
• Coordinate year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
