Job summary

The CFO HQ seeks a Finance Manager for a 12-month contract in Leicestershire. You will oversee monthly accounts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and provide post month-end analysis to support business decisions.

Day-to-day you will partner with non-finance teams, manage a small finance team, and contribute to proactive analysis requests in a hybrid working setup (three days in the office, two from home).

Qualifications

• Qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant with demonstrable experience in financial leadership.
• Experience at senior management accounting or finance manager level.
• Track record in managing a small finance team.
• Evidence of strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly accounts production and close processes.
• Lead financial reporting and governance across the business.
• Own budgeting and forecasting cycles and variance analysis.
• Provide post month-end analysis and insightful commercial commentary.
• Partner with non-finance teams to drive performance and decisions.
• Line-manage a small finance team and develop capabilities.
