Job summary

Oasis Business Personnel Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager based in Daventry to join a growing group of companies. This hands-on role requires managing a small finance team, maintaining ledgers, preparing management accounts, and supporting the finance function across multi-entity operations.

You will liaise with senior management, oversee payroll support, cashflow forecasting and month-end processes, and contribute to process improvements within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance professional with broad accounting capability across ledgers, journals and reporting.
• Experience leading a small finance team and supporting multi-entity environments.
• Strong Excel skills and financial data analysis.
• Solid communication and people-management abilities within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of three within the finance function.
• Act as the link between senior management and the finance team for guidance and oversight.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers across multiple companies.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and trial balances.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and post journals.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll support, and cash flow forecasting.
