A leading company in the insurance sector is seeking a Finance Management Reporting professional to enhance their reporting capabilities. This full-time role involves BAU management reporting, finance change initiatives, and onboarding new acquisitions, all while fostering collaboration across finance functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management reporting and programme management, with a commitment to driving positive change. Join a diverse team that values innovation and support in both everyday moments and significant challenges.
Who are we?
Howden is a collective - a group of talented and passionate people all around the world. Together, we have pushed the boundaries of insurance. We are united by a shared passion and no-limits mindset, and our strength lies in our ability to collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 18,000 employees spanning over 100 countries.
People join Howden for many different reasons, but they stay for the same one: our culture. It's what sets us apart, and the reason our employees have been turning down headhunters for years. Whatever your priorities - work / life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering - you'll find like-minded people driving change at Howden.
What is the role?
This is a broad and evolving role within the Group Finance Management Reporting team, created to support the development of our reporting capabilities as the business continues to grow. The position will play a key part in our finance transformation journey, combining BAU management reporting responsibilities with project-focused work, particularly around the rebuild and testing of our group consolidation system (OneStream) and the onboarding of new acquisitions.
This role is well suited to someone with strong management reporting and programme management skills, rather than deep systems implementation experience. We're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats - supporting BAU delivery, engaging in finance change, and helping standardise acquisition onboarding across the Group. There is potential for the role to evolve, so we are mindful to recruit someone who is comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and capable of shaping their own remit.
Please note that this is a full-time, permanent role based in our Central London office. Following a hybrid work pattern, you are expected to be onsite 3 days per week on average.
