Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Finance Manager for the Sizewell C project based in Leiston, Suffolk. The role combines site-based financial leadership with some home working where business needs allow.

You will partner with the delivery team, produce monthly management accounts and cashflow forecasts, and maintain project balance sheet integrity while collaborating across finance and central teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified with a professional finance qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent.
• Experience producing management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis in a project, operational or commercial environment.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Able to build effective working relationships with finance, commercial, operational and central teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance business partnering for the Sizewell C project, supporting the delivery team with clear financial insight and challenge.
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, MI and P&L summaries in line with Kier policies and standards.
• Prepare the weekly 13-week cashflow forecast, working with the commercial team to identify risks and opportunities and actions to optimise cash.
• Maintain control of project balance sheet areas (WIP, debtors, GRNI, reconciliations).
• Support day-by-day reviews, providing variance analysis and highlighting significant deviations promptly.
