Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate records and efficient processes across the organisation.
• Produce management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis that support effective decision-making by senior leaders and trustees.
• Work closely with colleagues across the ministry, providing financial guidance and helping non-finance managers understand and use financial information confidently.
• Support the ongoing development of finance systems, including the migration from Sage to Xero and the integration of financial and supporter data through Beacon CRM.
• Play an important role in stewarding the resources of a ministry that has been serving and strengthening the church for over 150 years.
