Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Manager or Management Accountant.
• Experience leading a small finance team.
• Strong UK VAT, PAYE and tax compliance knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.
• Able to work with operational teams and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and journal processing.
• Prepare weekly and monthly P&L statements.
• Oversee sales ledger, invoicing queries and credit control.
• Oversee inventory reconciliations and stock counts.
• Analyze financial performance and identify improvements.
• Manage two finance staff with regular reviews and training.
• Partner with operations to drive cost savings and efficiencies.
• Support strategic financial planning and business improvement projects.
