Job summary

KC Group is seeking a Finance Manager to own the finance function and build robust financial infrastructure to support growth. You will lead a small team, partner with the Managing Director and leadership, and drive reporting, budgeting and forecasting across the business.

This role offers genuine scope to shape the finance function in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial SME, with clear progression to Financial Controller and exposure to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or strong QBE candidates considered.
• Experience leading the finance function and providing strategic insight.
• Background in a growing SME or entrepreneurial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the finance function and lead a small team.
• Deliver monthly management accounts with commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Improve cash flow visibility, working capital management and liquidity planning.
• Strengthen systems and controls, and partner with MD and leadership team.
