Job summary

Axon Moore Group Ltd is partnering with a privately owned, high‑growth business to appoint a commercially minded Finance leader to own the finance function within a fast‑moving division. The role reports to the Managing Director and offers significant exposure to senior leadership, with clear progression as the division scales.

The successful candidate will drive monthly management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, and robust financial controls, while actively contributing to strategic planning

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is required.
• Experience in FCA-regulated environment.
• Strong technical accounting and commercial acumen.

Are you an ambitious finance leader looking for a role that can genuinely accelerate your career?

We're exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing, privately owned business seeking a commercially minded Finance professional to join one of its highest-performing divisions. With turnover approaching c.£20m and growing quickly, this is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside an entrepreneurial Managing Director, influencing strategic decisions & helping shape the future direction of the business. The role reports directly to the MD & offers exceptional exposure to senior leadership & clear progression opportunities as the division continues to scale.

This is far more than a traditional reporting role. You'll take ownership of the finance function, act as a trusted business partner to the leadership team & have a significant voice in commercial decision-making, operational improvement, growth initiatives & strategic planning. The successful candidate will also take ownership of FCA compliance & governance within the business, making prior experience within an FCA-regulated environment essential.

About You

You'll likely be:

• An existing Financial Controller, Finance Manager or Senior Finance Business Partner ready for a bigger challenge
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experienced within an FCA-regulated environment
• Commercially astute with strong technical accounting skills
• Confident challenging, influencing & partnering with senior stakeholders
• Hands‑on, driven & motivated by growth & progression
