Job summary

KC Group is seeking a Finance Manager for a growing SME, responsible for shaping the finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This high-impact role will support strategic decision-making by introducing improved budgeting and forecasting processes while managing a small team.

The ideal candidate should possess strong management accounts and commercial analysis skills, with a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

Qualifications

• Experience within product-based, manufacturing, FMCG, or stock-led environments is advantageous.
• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), part-qualified, or strong QBE candidates are considered.
• Experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar is required.
• Strong management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting experience is essential.
• Commercially minded with the ability to influence decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the finance function and lead a small team.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting with commentary.
• Improve cash flow visibility and working capital management.
• Introduce structured budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide valuable analysis on margins, pricing, and profitability.
