The Role

We are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our Finance Team in the Dublin Head Office. This is an opportunity to lead the accounting, financial control, and reporting function for several entities across the Staycity Group. Our centralised finance team, based in Dublin City Centre, supports our 1, (and growing) colleagues across Ireland, the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.

We would love you to have
  • Full accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
  • A minimum of 5 years\' PQE, ideally with people management experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with solid business acumen and a commercial mindset to deliver balanced solutions and recommendations
  • A proven ability to take ownership and work to strict reporting and operational deadlines
  • A highly collaborative approach and enjoyment of working within a multifunctional team
  • Demonstrated experience in transforming processes and driving positive change

What you can do for us
  • Lead the accounting, financial control and reporting function for several entities within the Staycity Group.
  • Review and oversee monthly management accounts providing insights and variance analysis.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all accounts are properly maintained and supported.
  • Manage the annual audit process across certain entities and oversee the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls across the group.
  • Provide expert technical accounting advice to business as required.
  • Continuously identify and implement process enhancements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy within financial operations.
  • Assist or lead in growth-related projects across the wider group as required including new property integration.
  • Lead a small team of qualified accountants and enable them to deliver their best.
