Job summary

Addington Ball Limited is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to influence business performance in a manufacturing setting. You’ll move beyond reporting to partner with production teams, driving profitability and efficiency with a sustainability focus.

You’ll own month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, costing, inventory valuation and business partnering with senior stakeholders across the operation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with manufacturing/inventory experience.
• Ability to work with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
• Commercially astute with analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end reporting, management accounts, KPIs and Board packs.
• Partner with operational teams to understand performance and improve profitability.
• Manage manufacturing costing, production variance and margin analysis.
• Oversee inventory controls, reconciliations, stocktakes and valuation.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
• Co-ordinate financial controls & reporting, including processes and systems.
