Job summary

Addington Ball Limited is seeking a Finance Manager who can move from pure reporting to providing commercial insights that influence profitability. You will partner with operational teams, own month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and drive cost control, inventory management and margin analysis across the manufacturing and recycling operation.

The role offers visibility to senior stakeholders and a chance to shape business performance with a sustainability focus.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing/inventory environments.
• Comfortable working with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
• Commercially astute with an analytical approach to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of month-end reporting, management accounts, KPIs and Board packs.
• Partner with operational teams to understand performance and improve profitability.
• Manage manufacturing costing, production variance and margin analysis.
• Oversee inventory controls, reconciliations, stocktakes and valuation.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
• Co-ordinate financial controls and reporting, including processes and systems.
