Morgan McKinley is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager to join the finance function of a growing PE-backed education business in London. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role focuses on financial reporting, technical accounting and statutory compliance across the Group.

You will own the monthly close, prepare group consolidation, manage debt reporting, support year-end audits and liaise with lenders and PE shareholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial reporting and month-end close.
• Proficient in consolidation, statutory reporting and technical accounting.
• Experience with debt reporting, covenant calculations and lender reporting.

Responsabilités

• Ownership of the monthly close process including management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of Group consolidation and financial reporting, including intercompany eliminations.
• Oversee balance sheet integrity with reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
• Preparation and review of statutory accounts and coordination of year-end audit.
• Support the application of UK GAAP / IFRS and assess technical accounting matters.
• Prepare debt schedules, interest calculations and financing-related accounting.
• Prepare debt covenant calculations and lender reporting including leverage headroom.
• Provide regular PE investor and Board reporting.
• Own key financial controls and processes across the Group.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with data review and assumptions.
• Assist M&A activity including acquisition accounting and due diligence.
