Job summary

The CFO HQ in North London is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager / Company Accountant to take ownership of daily bookkeeping and month-end processes. You will work directly with the MD/Owner, handling invoicing, cash flow, reconciliations and group accounting duties in a small family-run environment.

This permanent role requires five days in the office, offering a long-term local opportunity with a friendly team and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Finance Manager / Company Accountant background required.
• Experience handling day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end close.
• Proficiency with Sage 50 and cash flow management.
• VAT and CIS returns experience helpful.
• Credit control and debtors management.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping on Sage 50.
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Raising sales ledger invoices and credit control.
• Supplier statement reconciliations and payments runs.
• Month-end procedures and reconciliations.
• Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Processing monthly management accounts.
• Inter-company reconciliations.
• VAT and CIS returns.
• Year-end preparation for external accountants.
