The CFO HQ is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance function for its UK and international operations from a central London base. This standalone role reports to the COO and partners with senior leadership to ensure accurate bookkeeping, cash flow, budgeting, and compliance across entities.

You will manage AP/AR, month-end processes, and financial reporting, while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing a standalone finance function.
• Experience across UK and international entities is advantageous.
• Proven ability to prepare monthly P&L, cashflow and budgeting analyses.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software.

### Job Description* Permanent* Shepherd's Bush, London* Posted 18 hours ago* £60,000 – £65,000 per annum + Hybrid + BenefitsWebsite**CV-Library**FINANCE MANAGER / STANDALONE POSITIONCENTRAL LONDON (HYBRID AVAILABLE)£60,000 to £65,000 (Possibly Neg.) + BENEFITS\\*\\*IDEALLY ON ONE MONTH NOTICE OR LESS\\*\\*### THE OPPORTUNITYWe're partnering with a well-established and growing international business that is looking to recruit a standalone Finance Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function across its UK and international operations.This is a hands-on position and would suit an experienced Finance Manager, Management Accountant or Company Accountant who is comfortable being the main finance person within a business, managing the full day-to-day accounting function whilst working closely with the COO and senior leadership team.You'll have responsibility for the internal finance function across multiple entities, covering transactional finance, month-end, reporting, cashflow, budgeting, supplier management and financial controls, as well as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general transactional bookkeeping.THE FINANCE MANAGER ROLE:Full ownership of the day-to-day finance function across multiple UK and international entities, operating as the standalone internal finance leadManaging the bookkeeping and accounting processes, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded within the accounting systemManaging Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including supplier invoices, client invoicing, payment tracking and aged balances and regular bank reconciliationsSupporting the month-end close and producing monthly financial reports, including P&L information and expenditure analysisManaging supplier relationships, purchase orders and payment processes, ensuring appropriate approvals are in placeMonitoring expenditure against budgets and highlighting variances to senior management. Supporting budgeting, forecasting and ongoing cashflow management across the businessManaging and reconciling commission payments, referral fees and other variable paymentsActing as the main point of contact for outsourced accountants across the countries in which the business operatesPreparing and providing financial information for VAT returns, statutory accounts, tax filings and other local compliance requirementsReviewing expenses and ensuring costs are correctly allocated across entities, departments and projectsIdentifying opportunities to improve and automate finance processes, systems and reportingTHE PERSON:Current experience within a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Company Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally holding a standalone role.Strong hands-on accounting experience with the confidence to take ownership of an end-to-end finance functionExperience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and month-end processesConfident producing management information and supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow managementExperience working across multiple entities or within an international business would be advantageousMust have experience of processing and calculating commissions, ideally in a software / brokerage / affiliate environment.Experience using QuickBooks, Xero or a similar accounting system.Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to confidently work with financial dataAbility to fluently speak French, in addition to English, would be a significant advantage.TO APPLY:Please send your CV for the Finance Manager role via the advert for immediate consideration.
