Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Controller/Finance Manager for a family-run manufacturing firm in Wood Green, North London. Salary £40,000–£50,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and full-time hours 9am-5pm.

The role includes bank and ledger reconciliations, VAT returns, payroll journals, and year-end accounting. AAT qualification or QBELive and at least 5 years UK experience in manufacturing are required. On-site parking and pension are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK manufacturing accounting preferred.
• AAT or QBELive qualification.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of bank accounts including UK and US accounts.
• Maintenance and reconciliation of UK and US ledgers and VAT reporting.
• Payroll journal processing and reconciliation.
• Stock checks and year-end valuation.
• Budgeting and forecasting with monthly variance analysis.
• Liaison with external accountants for annual accounts.
