Job summary

Pertemps is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Keynsham, Bristol. This hands-on role leads day-to-day finance, supports senior management, and strengthens processes, controls and commercial decision-making.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, manage cashflow and lead a finance team. The role offers a broad, impactful position with development opportunities within a growing business.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or equivalent (or part-qualification ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience.
• Experience leading a finance function and managing a team.
• Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of cashflow forecasting, VAT and payroll.
• Experience with purchase/sales ledgers, credit control and bank reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel and financial software (Xero).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and P&L reports.
• Manage cashflow forecasting, budgets and financial reporting.
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations.
• Manage VAT returns, payroll and other financial compliance.
• Monitor working capital, debtors and creditors.
• Produce management information, KPIs and financial analysis.
• Maintain strong financial controls and accurate accounting records.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting.
• Manage and develop the finance team.
• Support senior management with budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.

We’re recruiting an experienced Finance Manager for a growing business based in Keynsham. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for the day‑to‑day finance function, management reporting and the finance team.

You’ll work closely with senior management, providing accurate financial information and helping to strengthen processes, controls and commercial decision‑making.

The role

• Prepare monthly management accounts and P&L reports
• Manage cashflow forecasting, budgets and financial reporting
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations
• Manage VAT returns, payroll and other financial compliance

What we’re looking for
